Check your aid before you choose Post
Your Pell estimate, a possible state grant, campus-based aid and federal loan limits under the rules for the year you start (2026-27 or 2027-28). About two minutes, before any email. Post's financial aid office sets your actual offer.
Check my aidPost is accredited by the New England Commission of Higher Education (NECHE) and is private and for-profit. On December 5, 2024 it was acquired by a subsidiary of Universidad Andrés Bello (UNAB), a nonprofit university in Chile. Since April 2026 it has been on NECHE’s Program of Special Monitoring, which NECHE calls “supervisory not punitive.”
If you are paying with your own money this time, the worry is losing it on a degree you do not finish. At Post, the credits you bring set how many you pay for: up to 90 can be considered toward a bachelor’s, a ceiling rather than a promise, and each one that counts is one fewer credit at $629.
Post is in Waterbury, Connecticut. 92% of its undergraduates studied fully online in fall 2024.

NECHE's next comprehensive evaluation of Post
NECHE’s policy says it sets up that program when it approves the sale of a school, and calls the decision “supervisory not punitive.” While it runs, Post needs NECHE’s approval in advance for changes such as adding programs delivered through distance education.
Post’s business programs are accredited by ACBSP, its bachelor’s and master’s nursing programs by CCNE, and its Doctor of Nursing Practice by ACEN. Our five-minute check for whether an online school is legit shows how to confirm any accreditor yourself.
Post’s online business bachelor’s costs $629 a credit in 2026-27
| Online program | Tuition, 2026-27 |

| Certificates, associate and bachelor's degrees in business, public service and education (except the two below), and arts and sciences | $629 a credit |
| Early childhood studies (associate) and child studies (bachelor's) | $567 a credit |
| RN to BSN | $450 a credit, or $3,500 a semester (competency-based) |

On top of tuition, Post charges a $50 technology fee each term and $90 per course for electronic course materials in courses that use them. Students in the business, public service and arts and sciences schools pay a $90 graduation fee; the nursing college lists its own fees.
College Scorecard lists $16,499 in tuition and fees for 2025-26, the same for in-state and out-of-state students. Online courses run in 8-week terms: Post’s 2026-27 calendar lists six starts, June 29, August 31 and October 26, 2026, and January 11, March 8 and May 3, 2027, and says dates are subject to change.
Transfer credits cut the bill: up to 90 can be considered toward a bachelor’s
Post’s bachelor’s in business administration takes 120 credits, and the table below uses that total. Post considers transfer credit for courses with a grade of C or above, and its policy says “Courses must be similar in nature, level, and content to a course in our curriculum.”
From a four-year school, up to 90 credits can be considered toward a bachelor’s; from a two-year school, up to 75. You must earn at least 30 credits at Post, including 15 in your major.
| Credits transferred in | Credits left at Post | Tuition |
|---|---|---|
| None | 120 | 120 x $629 = $75,480 |
| 60 | 60 | 60 x $629 = $37,740 |
| 75, the most from a two-year school | 45 | 45 x $629 = $28,305 |
| 90, the most from a four-year school | 30 | 30 x $629 = $18,870 |
Work experience can count too. With five years of professional experience in your field, a prior learning portfolio can earn up to 30 credits toward a bachelor’s, but certifications, prior learning, test-outs and ACE-reviewed training together can make up no more than 25% of the degree. Ask for a written transfer evaluation before you enroll.
